Stephen Irving

Director, Communications & Fundraising

I am a communications and fundraising leader with over 15 years of experience driving strategic initiatives across public, private, and non-profit sectors.

As Director of Communications and Fundraising at Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility, I play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission to improve accessibility for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals. I lead the development of innovative communication strategies, strengthen Wavefront Centre’s brand identity, and oversee fundraising efforts to support impactful programs and services.

A certified public participation professional (IAP2) with a Master of Arts from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, I am dedicated to creating accessible, inclusive, and effective communication solutions.

My collaborative approach ensures that Wavefront Centre’s communications and fundraising efforts amplify its impact and enhance its reach as a national leader in accessibility services.
