Qualified interpreters

Our interpreters are Registered Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI) and Deaf Interpreters (DI) who are members of the Westcoast Association of Visual Language Interpreters (WAVLI) and the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters (CASLI), adhering to their Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct to ensure precise and culturally appropriate interpretation.

We provide interpreting services for a variety of settings, including medical appointments, legal proceedings, educational environments, business meetings, conferences, and public events.

On-site and remote services

Fees and Cancellations

Appointment cancellations received by the Community Interpreting Services (CIS) office with less than 72 business hours are billed for the full appointment time and number of interpreters booked.

Have a medical emergency? Deaf clients and emergency responders can access an interpreter after hours (4:00 pm – 8:00 am PST) by calling or texting Emergency Medical Interpreting Services.
