  • Are you a Deaf person and a sign language user over 18 years old living in British Columbia?
  • Have you used virtual (internet-based) interpreting services anytime in the last two years?

If so, we would like you to share your feedback in an accessible virtual (Zoom) interview. Please contact Chris Atchison at chris.atchison@wavefrontcentre.ca.  We would appreciate hearing from you by November 10th , 2024.

The Virtual Communications Project aims to understand your experiences with using sign language interpreting services in virtual settings as part of a research project being undertaken by UBC and Wavefront Centre and guided by an Advisory Committee with representation from a wide cross-section including Deaf and Hard of Hearing advocates.

Your insights will contribute to recommendations for overcoming barriers and establishing best practices for delivering quality and accessible virtual sign language interpreting services. An honorarium of $50 will be provided to eligible participants.
